Introduction

Govt Industrial Training Institute Rampur is situated in Distt Shimla Himachal Pradesh. The institute has all trades affiliated to NCVT(National Council of Vocational Training).The institute is a leading educational organization in the region providing latest job oriented courses for students under CTS(Craftsmen Training Scheme).The Institute is also running various short term course in different trades to full fill the demand of industries and the studends.

Institute History

The Institution came in to existence on 30-08-1986 with four trades i.e. Fitter, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Cutting and sewing and Stenography (Hindi) with intake capacity of 72 trainees. In the year 2006 the institution was upgraded to Center of excellence (COE) in automobile sector. Presently institute is imparting training in ten different trades with intake capacity of 332 seats. The institute is also running double shift in different trades.
